Dear Friends in Christ,
Single Parent Family Gathering is quickly approaching! Attached is a flier with details. I would greatly appreciate it if you'd please post and distribute the information to all single parents in your church. Who is a single parent? A custodial or non-custodial mother or father, a spouse separated due to military duty or a grandparent raising their grandchildren.
Although I have limited funding available for scholarships, it would be wonderful if the local church can offer some assistance as well.
Also, volunteers are still needed as "angels" to assist with the retreat. If you know of anybody who would like to spend their weekend helping the parents with their children at camp, then please send them my way.
Your help is greatly appreciated and needed to make this retreat a success!
