HELP OTHERS LEARN TO READ A WRITE BETTER
The Ponca City Area Literacy Council is in need of volunteer tutors. All tutors are asked to finish a 12 hour training class that will better equip them to work with learners.
A tutor training workshops are usually held Thursday Friday from 5:45 to 8:45 pm and Sat. from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. A light meal and snacks will be served at all sessions. The class and all materials are free. Anyone interested in helping someone improve their literacy skills should call the literacy office 767-0351 for more information or to register for the workshop. Ponca Language Arts Council meets at 1:20PM each Friday, in the Valdez Building, at White Eagle. everyone interested in the Ponca Language is invited.
