THE PONCA CITY PUBLIC LIBRARY is at 515 East Grand Avenue, Ponca City, Oklahoma 74601  Phone 767-0345.   Web site=  http://www.poncacity.lib.ok.us    Most book loans and services are free and available to persons who  request and receive a Library Card. 

1. READING MATERIAL:   Biographies, Novels, History, Biographies, Paperback books, Magazines and Newspapers, Picture books,      1700 books  and the Reader's Digest Magazine are available in large print.

2. SPECIAL COLLECTIONS:  Genealogy and Family History, oklahoma Collection, Larg Print Books, Young Adult Collection, Oklahoma and Out-of State Telephone Directories, Business-finance  Reference Sources, Vertical Files, Richard Gordon Matzen Artr Collection Spanish Language Materials

3. AUDIO VISUAL MATERIALS:   Audio Cassetts, 3300 Video Cassetts,  2200  Books on Cassettes and 500 on CDs, Compact Discs Movies and Music,  700 DVDs, Microfilm of Census and Area Newspapers, typerwriters for Public Use, Computer Labewith Public Internet Access, Casett Playersand Headphones, Overhead projectiors, Optilec Vison Enhanced readers.

4.. SPECIAL SERVICES: Interlibrary Loan Services, Book Delivery to Homebound, State and Federal Tax Forms and Tax assistance for Senior Citizens by volunteers, Adult Literacy Tutoring, Memorial Book Plan, Story Times fo Preschoolers, Adult Discussion Groups, Book Talks, Ready Reference, friends Group, Art Tours, Children's Summer Reading Program.  The Archeology Club meets in the Library and  there is a yearly  Archeological outing open to the public.  There are brown Bag Lunch Programs on various subjects,  Family Movie and Pop Corn times, and various Craft Programs.  There are Book Sales of used books and other materials.

5. OUTREACH SERVICE: A.  Books are also deliverfed to four other places each week: Alterra Sterling House, Broadway Plaza, Renaissance of POnca City and Westminster Village.       B.  You may order Books by Mail= apply to the Adult Services Librarian  at 767-0345.    C. The Adult Services Librarian is available to present a "book review"  to groups in the community.  Contact her at 767-0345.

FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH MEDIA LIBRARY   at 5th and Oklahoma is open to the public. It is open Sundays from 12-12:30PM,  Closed Monday, Tuesday=1-5PM, Wednesday=1-6:30PM, Thursday 1-5PM, Thursday 1-5PM, Closed Friday and Saturday.   There are thousands of books, audios, video, CDs, and DVDs.  Christian literature to help you grow spiritually.   Library Director is Mickey Joseph.  Information=765-4427.
