WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO WRITE?  

CHURCHES, CLUBS, CLASSES, AND ORGANIZATIONS: Many organizations need "reporters" to write up their activities for their own newsletters or to  submit them to the local newspaper or other organizaional publicaiton.

NEWSPAPER, NEWSLETTER   The Ponca City News invites "Letters to the Editor".  Your church or organization writes articles about their activities for the Newspaper.  Specialized articles can go to the Gardening Editor, Patti Carmack, the Church Page Editor  etc.  Check with them about deadlines and rules about what is submissable.   Photo Journalism (pictures with the story) also are invited, but have rules on what is submissable.

TELEVISION:  Cable One in Ponca City 303 NOrth Fourth Street, PO Box 2140 , Phone 58-762-6684, fax=580-762-0312   Their Channel 11 "Bulletin Board" is free to  non-profit organizations.  But your announcement must be less than 94 letters and spaces combined. They have a form for you to use.  It must be sumbitted at least 3 days in advance and will be on the air for up to one week. 

RADIO:  Many radio stations have "bulletin boards" for non-profit organization announcements of coming activities.
