PHOTOGRAPHY:

The Albright United Methodist Church at 138 South Palm Street  has a Communication Committee who  photographes it's church's activities and puts them on their Web Site,  in the Ponca City News and on their Bulletin Boards.   If you would like to learn to help in  their photography ministry, contact Church Photographer, William Brigden at 765-9611.

The Ponca City Library has many books and videos on photography.

The Pioneer Technical Center  in Ponca City has short courses  in digital photography.

The OUTDOOR OKLAHOMA  magazine has an annual Readers' Photography Showcase.  Amateur as well as professional photographers may send slides,prints or digital photos  by March 15 each year,  to Paul Moore, Photo Editor,"Outdoor Oklahoma", Oklahoma Dept. of WildlifeConservation, P.O. Box 53465, Oklahoma City, Ok.73l52.  Digital photos should be at least 300 dots per inch.  Prints should be eight by eleven inches .  Pictures may be any outdoor photo such as   sportspersons in the field or on the lake, scenic sunsets,  wildlife, etc.   Up to 5 photographs may be sent with photographer's name, address and phone number attached to each. Entries will be returned undamaged.  Each submission shoujld include a description of the photo including location taken, camera used, names of subjects, and how the shot was taken.  .
